Show HN: Magny – a tool to help build command palettes easily Hey HN community, The idea of Magny [1] first came to my mind when I was managing the development process of a SaaS in-app search bar in a company I was working at. It was a bit cumbersome as the command palette was headless. The moment we built it, the PM started to have issues. We didn't have analytics and debug logs to deal with out of the box, and there was no option to customize the UI without developer interaction as well. It took us more than 3 weeks to implement a barebones library (but it was working fine). We tried to integrate help docs, and the dev team had predicted it would take another 2 months. I was genuinely scared but at the same time the situation was telling me that this could be a great opportunity - a command palette as a service (CPaaS?) That's when I started the Magny command palette platform. Initial feedback was great, so decided to move with a full implementation. We are also gathering a list of awesome command palette resources [2]. I would like to hear your opinions about the idea and the platform in general. As we have just launched this week, we can't wait to hear from what you think about the overall solution.
